These are another hard strain to work with to get actual solid white males. Most of the males will have some grayish to black coloring in their body yet keeping most of the fins white. They can resemble half black whites but they are not the same strain. Half black white guppy males should have a nearly solid black body starting at the dorsal fin and going back to the tail, these do not have that, but most will have some color in their bodies.
My original breeders are Thailand imports and I will say that the females grow huge! It’s going to take time to establish a these to strengthen the white in the males, have to be super selective on what males are kept for a breeding program. It’s harder with the females because you can never tell what genes they have. Just breed them to the right males and keep the best from them for your next generation of breeders.
Just a short video of these guys outside in natural sunlight.
